Jag was a guest at the excellent event at the Durham Business School. We listed to guest speakers speak about innovation, change management, additive manufacture as well as new security protocols for 3D printing. The event was hosted by Prof A. Chaudhuri.
Jag was visited the open event in Spennymoor to hear from local business and what they would be keen to see the recent allocation of £20 million spent on. Jag has submitted several propositions on how the money should be distributed.
Jag was invited to attend a Royal Academy of Engineering event in Newcastle to discuss T-Level students. One point Jag made was the need for lecturers to train the students to have real-world knowledge which can then be applied through direct learning.
We were part of the audience at the recent launch of the Innovation Challenge for TVCA. Edge's program will seek support for ten innovations between now and March 2025. The companies have to be Tees Valley-based.
Jag welcomed Ms Heather Pehrson to the site to review Callum's recent placement. Callum has worked with us since earlier this year. The meeting discussed how Callum had fitted into Jag's working practices during his stay.
Jag visited the Nissan office as part of its role as a visiting fellow to support the Community Co-created distributed manufacturing project. The event was excellent, well-attended, and very informative.
